It's another Friday night installment of The Assassin's Table. The boys really enjoyed this chapter and the new dimension of the narrative. I hope you like it, too.
I have to admit that it's kind of funky keying in these first chapters, while I'm still working on the later parts of the book. The process of creating this is in an interesting place, a dichotomy of what I've already made and what I'm still creating. It provides a nice balance, where I'm able to prepare things for you to read, cleaning up first drafts that I wrote six months ago, while actively trying to take that narrative forward. It keeps things form getting stale.
I also have to admit that I'm really enjoying where the story is for me. Because I'm about forty thousand words ahead of you, it kind of feels like I'm living in the future. It also feels a little unfair, here I am enjoying the excitement of things that are just hinted at in these early chapters.
Thanks for reading, as always.
