Yes, it has been too, too long! But it's here at last, the thrilling conclusion the the epic adventure, "Revenge of the Squid Queen" is here. Finally. Really, finally...
So, this share didn't really go according to plan, for a few reasons, which I'm not going to share because they're beyond the scope of the purpose of this website. Reality is for suckers, but sometimes a writer needs to listen to it when things like a new job or shoulder surgery calls. Seriously, it's all good.
That being said, there are going to be a few changes moving forward, at least for the rest of 2017. I'm simply not going to have the time and energy to maintain a weekly serial the way I have been. Ideally, I'd love to keep that up again, and I'm open to it happening again in the future. For now, you're going to have to content yourself with this tale until I can get something finished and posted.
That's the bad news. Here comes the good news.
I'm working on a ton of stuff. There are five stories that I think I'll finish sooner rather than later, including a brand new series character that I really, really think you'll like.
Prior to the recent circumstances, I was lucky enough that I could dedicate a big chunk of time to writing, then keyboarding and sharing. IT was very do-able to get something every week. Thing is, as I chased a lot of creative threads I noticed something. I was starting and getting deep into a lot of stories, but I wasn't finishing anything. So I determined to hunker down and work my way through the notebooks one by one and finish first one story, then another, then another.
Then I started something brand new. How about that?
Well, right now, I'm sticking with this new one. Things are in a place where I can crank through this story and get a handwritten draft done before, well... I'm sixty...
I guess what I'm saying is that I'm looking forward to is finishing stories. That's going to be my focus, because they're all worth the effort. So be patient, True Believers. The work will be here, but it'll be more sporadic than you're used to.
But they'll be here. I'm glad you are.
Thanks for reading!
